The New Guinea Singing Dog Conservation Society
Celebrating Our 20th Anniversary as a 501c3 Non-Profit
The photo above is of Marlin at the San Diego Zoo in 2007. It was taken by member Lynn Jackson and donated to the Society to promote the Singers. This photo has been chosen to represent the NGSDCS as its “mascot.”
March 2021 marks the 20th anniversary of the Society becoming a 501c3 USA Internal Revenue Service recognized non-profit organization, making contributions tax deductible. We were established in 1996 as a non-profit corporation in Oregon, USA. In the last 25 years our efforts to bring Singers from the brink of extinction in captivity and to get them public and scientific attention have succeeded. A summary of our member’s efforts in scientific research begins on page 4.
